"The courses, policies, and activities offered in LLC really help students improve their English skills. For example, E.O.P. (English Only Policy) encourages students to speak only in English inside the academy. When I came back to Korea after studying in LLC, I took my TOEIC test. Not surprisingly, my TOEIC score increased by 200. I realized that the more you are exposed to English, the more it will be easier for you to listen, read, write, and speak in English. If you want to master English, grab your passport, book your ticket, and enroll in De La Salle Araneta University – Lasallian Language Center.”

STUDENT FEEDBACK

Lasallian Language Center prides itself on providing assistance and quality education to all our students from Korea. Through the years, we have produced numerous graduates who eventually became successful in their chosen careers. It is true that LLC has become the perfect training ground and the best venue to learn English in a fun and easy way.

“It is true that not all schools have a fastidious and strict hiring process in Philippines. Therefore, it occurs often that hired teachers are not qualified and proficient. I was also a bit conscious of this matter before going since some of my friends had failed experience due to this. However, it was completely flown away as I checked the processes of hiring the faculty in LLC. Indeed, LLC teachers fully lived up to my expectations and taught me small mistakes and some parts that I needed to improve in man-to-man classes. I might not have known such my flaws until now, had I not studied in LLC. As a result, I was capable of stepping to upper English level in just a month.”

Hyejin Lee (Jane) | Kongju National University

“One of the reasons why students should choose to study English in LLC is that LLC has good courses, and the atmosphere is conducive to learning. At first, I thought that LLC’s schedule was too tight.  However, I understood why they have that kind of schedule. They want to make use of the time wisely, so they encourage the students to study for longer hours in order for them to learn more. After a month of studying there, I improved a lot. I thought that I would not be able to improve quickly. However, due to the tight schedule, I could speak English very well in less than a month from the time I started studying there. Aside from that, all of the teachers are passionate with teaching their students. Even though the courses were hard, I followed it because my teachers motivate me to study harder and to succeed. They never give up on their students. They are patient with teaching and explaining to students. Thus, the students find it easier and fun to study English. For these reasons, I respect the teachers, and I studied diligently.”

“First of all, students can improve their English skills. There is a saying that “A thousand hearings are not worth one seeing.” Before I went to the Philippines, I couldn’t speak and write English very well. The only thing that I could do was to solve easy TOEIC questions. While I was in LLC, on the other hand, I developed not only fluent English skills but also confidence. The systematic curriculum and excellent teachers in LLC helped me improve my English skills.”

Yang Wonji (Harris) | Gyeongsang National University

“ First of all, I think the strongest asset in LLC is their teachers. Not only do teachers have good teaching skills, but they also have good personalities. They know how to handle situations and they understand the students’ needs. If the students commit mistakes because of difference in culture, the teachers can understand and explain it. “

Lim Su Hyun (Vesta) | Changwon National University

“ As I'm the one who studied English both in the Philippines and Canada, I am able to tell that there are several good things that LLC has compared to Canada. In Canada, one teacher teaches about a dozen of people with a variety of nationalities. On the other hand in LLC in the Philippines, one teacher teaches one student. This is a huge difference. Teachers can focus more on students individually and it makes the teacher and student create a friendship or a sense of fellowship easily. Students end up feeling postive about learning English. Next one is that LLC helps us study the basic things such as syllable and stress (I guess those are the best things I have ever learned about English in my life!!). UVic, University of Victoria in Canada, they assume that students already know the concept of syllables or how to put the word stress. If I didn't study it in LLC in advance, I might have been doomed in Canada. Last one is that all LLC teachers are open-minded to be our friends. They're not just teachers but also friends which are priceless. They are amicable to Korean students and they give their students good advice for the trips, the life in the Philippines or even everyday's life. Until now, I keep in touch with my teachers in LLC. Chatting online with them reminds me of such a beautiful memory. If there is anyone who wants to study English abroad even though they can afford to go to Canada, USA, or Europe, I strongly recommend going to the Philippines in order to study the basic things and save money.”

"Before I arrived here, I was so worried because all of my classmates are Koreans, and I am the only Chinese. I am a foreigner in a foreign land. But right now, because of my friends and teachers, I am not worried anymore. After two months, my English and Korean skills became better. Thanks to my teachers and friends who taught me and took care of me during my stay here in the Philippines.
I really cannot forget all the things. I experienced here because all of them were fun and I get to experience Philippines culture. All in all, my experience here in the Philippines is a great one."
